February 28 - March 13: Field Hockey World Cup - Canada beat Pakistan for 11th, Australia won!
March 2 - 14: NCAA Basketball Championship Week - The Canadians did a pretty good job, qualifying a number of teams to the tournament. Particular big ups to Vermont and New Mexico State for winning their tournaments!
March 3 - 17: CONMEBOL U20 Women's Championship - Argentina failed to make the semifinals.
March 6 - 14: World Junior Curling Championships - Canada came 3rd and 2nd in bos and girls respectively.
March 6 - 14: The Brier - Ontario lost to Alberta in the finals.
March 8 - 14: World Junior Figure Skating Championships - Canada got silver in Ice Dance.
March 8 - 14: IIHF U18 World Championships, Divison IIIa - Mongolia came in last, China won.
March 9: Eurocup, Last 16, game 6 - Brose Baskets lost.
March 9: Eurochallenge, Last 16, game 6 - EiffelTowers Den Bosch lost.
March 9 - 10: AFC Champions League, group stage - Suwon Bluewings won!
