World games coming up!

WWS loves the World Games since it showcases awesome obscure sports. Go Canada in Ultimate Frisbee for instance.

July 2 - 12: FIBA U19 World Championships - USA won, Canada came in 7th.
July 2 - 12: U18 European women's Championship, Divison A - Spain won.
July 2 - 12: U18 European women's Championship, Divison B - Hungary won, the Netherlands came in 13th.
July 3 - 26: CONCACAF Gold Cup - Canada faces Honduras in the quarterfinals.
July 4 - 26: Tour de France - Ryder Hesjedal is in 70th (he was at 20th, but had a poor stage on Friday).
July 4 - 14: AFC Women's Championship qualification - Iran failed to qualify.
July 6 - 15: U20 Women's European Basketball Championship, Division B - The Netherlands are in the quarterfinals.
July 6 - 10: OFC Futsal Championship - Solomon Islands won, Vanatu came 3rd.
July 7 - July 8: UEFA Champions League 1st qualifying round, 2nd leg - Tre Fiori was eliminated on penalties.
July 8: Copa Libertadores, Final, 1st leg - Estudiantes drew the first leg.
July 8 - 12: The Ashes, 1st test - 1st match drawn (England was saved by the rain).
July 8 - 12: World Youth Championships in Atheltics - Canada came 13th by placing, 22nd by medals. The good news is that we have a sprinter who got silver in the 100m.
July 9: UEFA Europa League, 1st qualifying round, 2nd leg - TNS was knocked out.
July 9 - 12: U.S. Women's Open (Golf) - Alena Sharp came in 79th, Eun-Hee Ji won.
July 9 - 19: U20 Women's European Basketball Championship, Division A - Spain sits atop their group.
July 10 - 12: Davis Cup, World Group, QF - Argentina lost, Israel with a surprise win.
July 10 - 12: Davis Cup, Americas Zone, Group I, 2nd round playoffs - Canada is drawn 2-2 ... play was suspended due to darkness.
July 10 - 12: Davis Cup, Americas Zone, Group II, 2nd round playoffs - Netherlands Antillies beat Jamaica 4-0 but play suspended?
July 10 - 12: Davis Cup, Asia/Oceania Zone, Group I, 1st round playoffs - South Korea up 2-1 but play suspended?
July 10 - 12: Davis Cup, Asia/Oceania Zone, Group II, 2nd round playoffs - Oman got relegated.
